Black Au (Gold)

The Process

Aerobic Compost System

Black Au (Gold) is the outcome of an aerobic composting technique that harnesses the natural temperature fluctuations spanning 80 to 160 degrees. This method, combined with the cultivation of beneficial microorganisms, bacteria, fungi, bugs, insects, and nutrient-rich worm castings, brings life to your soil. It's truly ALIVE!

Phat sack of compost

Black Au comes in 10lb Phat Sackz. A soil amendment proliferated with nutrients that nourish the soul of your soil resulting in a healthier connection with the underground kingdom for you and your plants, gardens, lawns and trees.

Sustainable Measures Taken

Proper Aeration

Ensuring sufficient oxygen is vital for aerobic composting. This is accomplished by turning the compost pile regularly, promoting air circulation, which helps maintain aerobic conditions, accelerates decomposition and reduces unpleasant odors.

Temperature Management

Aerobic composting generates heat, which helps kill pathogens and weed seeds, resulting in safer compost. Maintaining the right temperature ranges (130°F to 160°F) is crucial for our effectiveness in making living composting.

Balanced Carbon-to-Nitrogen Ratio

A balanced mix of "browns" (carbon-rich materials like leaves, straw, and paper) and "greens" (nitrogen-rich materials like kitchen scraps, grass clippings, and manure) is essential for efficient composting. An ideal C:N ratio is around 30:1.

Moisture Control

The compost pile should be moist but not waterlogged, similar to a wrung-out sponge. Adequate moisture is necessary for microbial activity, but too much water can lead to anaerobic conditions and slow down the process.

Particle Size

Shredding or chopping organic materials into smaller pieces increases the surface area for microbes to work on, speeding up the decomposition process.

Diverse Materials

Including a variety of organic materials in the compost pile ensures a rich nutrient profile in the finished compost, benefiting soil fertility and plant health.

Avoiding Contaminants

Organic farmers and environmentally conscious landowners should avoid adding materials that contain chemicals, pesticides, or herbicides to the compost pile, as these can harm beneficial microbes and reduce the quality of the compost.

Environmentally Conscious Stewardship

Organic farmers and environmentally conscious landowners should avoid adding materials that contain chemicals, pesticides, or herbicides to the compost pile, as these can harm beneficial microbes and reduce the quality of the compost.

Preparing Black Au

The process of sifting the compost (infused with worm casting) for Black Au

Let's make some Plant Mojo, a compost tea, from Black Au

Take a scoop (i.e. 8 -12 fluid ounces); or the whole bag

Put the scoop of Au in a painter's strainer mesh (cheese cloth, sock, stocking, etc.) and submerge in a container of water (i.e. 5-gallon bucket); or put the whole sack into a larger container (i.e. 55-gallon drum)

Allow to steep and infuse for at least 24 hours, then the water will have a beautiful golden-brown color and ready to use.

It'll be concentrated, but not harmful, so you can pour it directly onto your vegetation.

You can dilute it if you choose to.

Use it in a manner you would normally water your plants, garden, lawn, trees, etc.

Reuse the initial amount of Black Au to make another batch of Plant Mojo until it no longer turns the water a golden brown color.

When that happens apply Black Au to the surface/ground or mix it in with the soil/dirt of established plants.

Levels of Au (gold) are low at the moment however, you can place an order and receive it once levels are replenished.
